Jana Porter is a trumpeter, singer, and songwriter currently living in Kansas City, Missouri. She also has extensive experience as an academic librarian.

Jana has performed in restaurants, senior living communities, churches, orchestra halls, and parks. In addition to music she loves creating videos and walking her dog.
Vocally she is equally comfortable with swing-era jazz, popular, country, as well as gospel selections..
As a trumpeter she is flawless in the classical realm and mixes jazz standards in her performances.
Her songs reflect upon her personal journey of faith and include themes of urban living.
